Our research found more than 1,000 public companies in Greater China disclosed their climate targets in 2022, a 50% surge compared to the previous year 📈. Meanwhile, new targets set in 2023 imply an average carbon emission reduction of 1.4% which falls short of the goals required to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
