Financial Secretary Visited MioTech at 2021 Hong Kong FinTech Week

The main conference of 2021 Hong Kong FinTech Week starts today at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre and online. This year’s FinTech Week focuses on “SCALING FINTECH FUTURE TOGETHER”. Financial Secretary of Hong Kong, Paul Chan, made opening remarks. As a featured firm of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP) and a leader in ESG data and sustainability, MioTech joins this year’s FinTech Week.

Witnessing the challenges facing firms and investors with the measurement, management and disclosure of ESG and carbon emission data, MioTech has accomplished a full upgrading of its products and services, launching corporate ESG data management system ESG Hub, and AI and big data-driven carbon and energy management system , bringing something new for the FinTech Week.

At the event, the Financial Secretary of Hong Kong SAR, Paul Chan, visited our booth and communicated to our team on MioTech’s products and services.

Fay Wu, VP of Research at MioTech, introduced MioTech’s ESG data platform AMI, and its newly launched carbon and energy management system, and MioTech’s unique role in the ESG and decarbonisation area. Fay noted that MioTech’s products and services will help corporations and investors boost sustainability, contributing to Hong Kong’s goal of becoming a leader in green finance.

This event marks the 6th Hong Kong FinTech Week and it welcomes over 250 speakers, including Yi Gang, Governor of People’s Bank of China, Paul Chan, Financial Secretary of Hong Kong SAR, and Eddie Yue, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Monetary Authority. More than 400 exhibitors from over 100 economics have joined this year’s FinTech Week. More than 17,000 people have registered to attend this year’s Hong Kong FinTech Week.
